New email address for submitting indoor air data to New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and NJDOH's Potential Health Risks Associated with Exposures to Trichloroethylene (TCE) in the Indoor Air Fact Sheet now available

Please note that the email address for submitting indoor air data to the NJDOH has changed. Please send the "VI Data Submission Checklist," data, and related information to LSRPIA.submission@doh.nj.gov. The checklist has been updated to include this new email address, and is available on the Site Remediation Vapor Intrusion guidance webpage at www.nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/vaporintrusion/njdoh_vi_data_submission_checklist.pdf.

If you have any questions regarding the new email address, please contact Christa Fontecchio at the New Jersey Department of Health at Christa.Fontecchio@doh.nj.gov.

The NJDOH has produced a fact sheet entitled, "Potential Health Risks Associated with Exposures to Trichloroethylene (TCE) in the Indoor Air" available at: www.nj.gov/health/ceohs/documents/tce_factsheet.pdf. This fact sheet provides general information on TCE and describes potential health impacts on a developing fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy. NJDEP recommends that this fact sheet be attached to the vapor intrusion sampling result letter when there is an exceedance of TCE in the indoor air and occupants of the building include women of childbearing age.

NJDEP's Vapor Intrusion Technical Guidance webpages have been updated to include a link to NJDOH's website.
