[SRRA]: Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board announcement regarding upcoming LSRP License Renewals

The Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (the Board) issues the following reminders and changes for upcoming license renewals.

License Renewal Period and Application Due Date: An LSRP's license renewal application period is 90 to 120 days before the license expiration date. The Board will send renewal instructions to each LSRP in an email approximately two weeks before the renewal period begins. The requirements for renewing a license, outlined in the Regulations of the New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board at N.J.A.C. 7:26I-2.11, must be met on or before the end of the application period. All requirements must be met, the renewal invoice paid, Continuing Education Credits earned, the renewal application and all supporting documentation received ninety (90) days before the license expiration date.

Renewal Fee: Approximately two weeks before the renewal period begins, the LSRP will receive via U.S. Mail an invoice from the New Jersey Department of Treasury in the amount of $100 for the renewal fee. The invoice may be paid via mail or online. If paying via mail, please follow the instructions on the invoice for paying the renewal fee, and return to the address listed for the Department of Treasury. If paying online, go to www.nj.gov/dep/online/ and select "pay for a license." Then enter the invoice and license numbers, and follow the onscreen instructions. For credit card payments, there will be a service charge equal to 1.9% of the amount being charged plus $1.00.

NEW!!! Renewal application form: The Renewal application form can be accessed on the SRPL Board website at www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/board/licensure/lsrp_license_renewal_application.pdf?v1_5 (version 1.5, dated 5/30/2018). Follow the instructions on the form for submitting your application. The application is a fillable PDF and can accommodate an electronic signature, so can be emailed directly to the Board. Please note that beginning June 1, 2018, all applications for license renewal must be submitted via email to SRPLBoardContact@dep.nj.gov. The application form, OSHA certificates, continuing education credit certificates, and any other supporting documents must be attached to the email as one single PDF document.
