[EXTERNAL]: Updated Site Remediation and Waste Management Program (SRWMP) DataMiner report available; updated remediation timeframes

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Site Remediation and Waste Management Program (SRWMP) has updated the "DataMiner Case Tracking Tool by Selected PI Number" report. The report will now display the Regulatory, Mandatory, and Statutory Timeframes associated with a specific case (LSR Activity). For cases under an Administrative Consent Order (ACO), the report will provide a link to access the ACO (if electronically available) to determine the specific timeframes required within the ACO.

In addition, the report will reflect updated timeframes for those cases (LSR Activities) with timeframes subject to extensions granted through Executive Order 103 (2020) ("EO 103") and Public Law 2021, c. 103 (PL 2021, c.103).

Timeframes for NJDEP lead RCRA Corrective sites overseen by the Department's Bureau of Case Management and for Immediate Environmental Concern (IEC) cases have not been updated at this time but will be updated in the future. The report will refer the user to contact the assigned case manager regarding applicable timeframes.

If the person responsible for conducting the remediation or the retained licensed site remediation professional believes there are errors regarding the timeframes in the DataMiner report, a written request outlining and substantiating the errors should be sent via email to srwm_njems@dep.nj.gov.

The NJDEP is planning to release additional updates to this report, and similar updates to the remaining "Case Tracking Tool" reports (by LSRP, by Organization) later this year.

For additional information regarding extensions granted through Executive Order 103 (2020) ("EO 103") and Public Law 2021, c. 103 (P.L. 2021, c. 103), see https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/executive_order/extension_information.html.

Questions regarding this listserv should be directed to the duty officers in the Bureau of Case Assignment and Initial Notice at 609-292-2943.
