DRBC Hosts NJ-AWRA Webinar on Climate Change

Last week, DRBC Deputy Executive Director Kristen Bowman Kavanagh hosted a webinar for the New Jersey American Water Resources Association (NJ-AWRA) entitled "Climate Change and NJ Water Resource Impacts."

N.J. Dept. of Environmental Protection, Div. of Science and Research's Nick Procopio, Ph.D, GISP, gave the presentation, which highlighted trends and projections of how the climate is changing and what effects are already visible, or anticipated, in N.J.'s waters.

Dr. Procopio is a member of DRBC's newly formed Advisory Committee on Climate Change, as well as a member of NJ-AWRA's Future Risk Committee.
