Dr. Fikslin Promoted

(WEST TRENTON, N.J.) - Thomas J. Fikslin, director of the Delaware River Basin Commission's Estuary Toxics Management Program, has taken on additional responsibilities as head of the commission's Modeling and Monitoring Branch.

Dr. Fikslin joined the commission in March of 1989 on loan from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He became a fulltime employee in 1993.

A graduate of Upsala College, he holds a masters degree in biological sciences from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D in ecology from Rutgers University. He is an adjunct assistant professor at Ocean County College.

Dr. Fikslin resides in Toms River, N. J., with his wife and daughter.
