About State Assessment Registration Submission

ACCESS for ELLs Pre-ID Submission LogoNJ SMART will collect PARCC, ACCESS 2.0, and DLM Registration information through the Official State Assessment Registration Submission that will begin in October of 2016.  The State Assessment Registration submission is required for LEAs that have students taking the PARCC, ACCESS 2.0, and/or DLM assessments within the current school year. For the 2016-2017 School Year, students that enter at any time during the submission period must be submitted to SID Management within NJ SMART first to allow these newer students to be accepted by the State Assessment Registration Submission.

Updates to State Assessment Registration Submission:

2017-2018 School Year:

  • StateAssessmentTestingSiteDistrict and StateAssessmentTestingSiteSchool are now mandatory for all records, including StateAssessmentName = 3.
  • The data element of SpecialEducationClassification has been removed.
  • The data element of FormerIEP has been added as State Op Field 6.
  • DateFirstEnrolledInUSSchool validations have been updated. The correct input format is now MM-DD-YYYY.
  • The acceptable value for Urdu is now "URD" for the data element DirectionsReadAloudInNativeLanguage.

  • September 17, 2018: Open Practice State Assessment Registration Submission
  • October 15, 2018: Close Practice State Assessment Registration Submission
  • October 19, 2018: Open Official State Assessment Registration Submission
  • December 3, 2018: Deadline Official State Assessment Registration Submission
