THOMAS EDISON ENERGYSMART CS (80-6081-967)

We believe that education is a shared responsibility and that the successful operation of a school depends on the cooperation of everyone involved: students, parents, and staff. The mission of the Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School is to create a partnership among the members of this triad. Each of us is responsible for doing his or her part to make our school a place where we can all work and strive together in harmony.

We have some exciting events happening in 2014/2015.  TEECS will participate in the Math Counts Competition for the first time!! We will build a team of 4 sixth graders along with four individual competitors. We will accept both 5&6 the graders to join the club to train for the competition. The fifth graders will help the sixth graders prepare for the competition and in turn prepare themselves for next years competition. Based on the training course and the mastery and efficiency each student shows, teams will be built!! Let's all work together to help our kids reach new heights!!!

Also, we are lifting off to high adventure with SSEP, which offers a unique opportunity for students to design innovative experiments that will be executed during spaceflight by NASA astronauts. As one of two schools in New Jersey participating in the program, Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School will be actively engaged with the SSEP program throughout the 2014-2015 School Year.

This is but a brief summary of all the exciting activities that are taking place this year at Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School.
