Governor Murphy Takes Action on Legislation

TRENTON – Today, Governor Murphy signed the following bills into law: 

A-3035/S-4134 (Calabrese, Speight/Diegnan, Smith) - Prohibits certain vehicles from parking in electric vehicle charging spaces under certain circumstances

A-4603/S-3662 (Freiman, Sauickie, Peterpaul/Singleton, Space) - Allows commercial farmer to be awarded reasonable costs and attorney fees for defending against bad faith complaints under “Right to Farm Act”

A-5049/S-3812 (Greenwald, Sampson, Karabinchak, Hutchison/Beach, A.M. Bucco) - w/STATEMENT - Removes certain limitations on receipt of retirement or death benefits under PFRS under certain circumstances

A-5857/S-4621 (Reynolds-Jackson, Verrelli/Greenstein, Turner) - Authorizes State Treasurer to sell as surplus property certain land and improvements in City of Trenton and Township of Lawrence in Mercer County

A-3802/S-3061 (Reynolds-Jackson, Wimberly, Freiman/Burgess, Pennacchio) – CONDITIONAL – Differentiates certain legal services from traditional insurance products
