New Jersey eWIC Update!!
The New Jersey Department of Health, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) will be transitioning from paper checks to electronic benefits (eWIC) in the future. eWIC is an electronic system that replaces paper WIC checks with a magnetic stripe card (on-line) for food benefit issuance and redemption at New Jersey authorized stores.
As the WIC State Agency continues to move forward with eWIC activities, all NJ WIC Authorized vendors will be updated with information by way “eWIC News” messages. These notifications will be sent by email and many will be posted on this site. This is the first of many notifications to update your store on eWIC.
