Do Something Grants

The goal of Do Something Grants is to fund young leaders to transform their ideas into community building action while strengthening their attitudes, skills and knowledge. Do Something Grants give young people across the country under the age of 30 the opportunity to create and implement their own community building projects. Individuals can apply to create a new project or to continue an existing project.

One of Do Something's major grants is the Brick Award. Each year, the BRICK Award honors
ten outstanding leaders under the age of 30 who use their talents to take action that measurably strengthens their local communities. Each of the ten winners is awarded a grant to support his/her community work: the national grand prize winner receives a grant of $100,000 and the nine other winners each receive a grant of $10,000.
