Public Advisory Boards, Commissions & Councils
The Department of Human Services is fortunate to have many volunteer-driven boards and commissions providing advice, guidance and expertise in a variety of critical areas. Volunteers of all backgrounds, beliefs and experience help us better understand the real-world impact of our programs in the community. The volunteers who serve with these boards and commissions are a valuable part of the Human Services team. The feedback from the individuals with lived experience, family members, stakeholders, and experts who serve on these boards help the Department refine and build the vital programs and initiatives Human Services provides to the residents of New Jersey. Individuals appointed to Human Services boards and commissions serve without compensation.
