WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 63 (2003), declaring a State of Emergency,
was issued on August 14, 2003 because of widespread power outages; and
WHEREAS, the severity of the conditions necessitating the declaration
of a State of Emergency has eased;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JAMES E. McGREEVEY, Governor of the State of New
Jersey, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and
by the Statutes of this State, do hereby ORDER and DIRECT that the State
of Emergency declared in Executive Order No. 63 is terminated effective
at 12 noon on August 15, 2003.
GIVEN, under my hand and seal this 15th day
of August in the Year of Our Lord, Two Thousand
and Three, and of the Independence of the United
States, the Two Hundred and Twenty-Eighth.
