The training programs may be customized to the needs and work environment of each employer. This unit also oversees the Mine Safety Education Program for the State Mining Industry. It also maintains a free lending library of safety and health training videos.

The New Jersey State Industrial Safety Committee advises industries of safety promotions and conducts occupational safety and Health training seminars to both public and private sectors.
