Atlantic City, N.J., October 5, 2016 – Yesterday, Acting Commissioner Aaron R. Fichtner, Ph.D. of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development gave remarks at the Interstate Labor Standards Association Prevailing Wage and Misclassification Conference in Atlantic City.
The Interstate Labor Standards Association (ILSA) is an organization of state labor department officials. Members of ILSA are responsible for administering and enforcing state labor laws, such as child labor, minimum wage and overtime, workplace labor rights, meal periods, rest periods, reporting time pay, hours worked, late payment of wages, prevailing wage, workplace retaliation and other labor statues.
