On
September 14, 1980, the defendant, Theodore Applegate, was arrested
for obtaining approximately 33 handle pulls on a slot machine at
Resorts International Casino Hotel. On arrest, the defendant admitted
that he had been obtaining the handle pulls from one of two machines
that he had been playing. On October 3, 1980, the defendant entered
a guilty plea to N.J.S. 5:12-113b, a disorderly person's for swindling
and cheating at gaming. On the same date, he was sentenced to pay
$125 fine plus $25 cost of court. That day he executed a Waiver
Form wherein he waived his right to contest a placement of his name
on the exclusionary list. |
