On January 31, 1998, Mr. Colavechhio was charged with Conspiracy, Attempted Theft by Deception, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Mr. Colavecchio allegedly manufactured counterfeit slot tokens and utilized same in several Atlantic City casinos to defraud and cheat the casinos. On March 6, 1998, Mr. Colavecchio pled guilty to all charges and was sentenced to a seven (7) year term of incarceration. On October 31, 2006, Mr. Colavechhio was videotaped gambling in several Atlantic City casinos. On November 1, 2006, Mr. Colavecchio was arrested by Rhode Island authorities and charged with Forgery, and 10 counts of Counterfeiting or Alteration of a Trademark, Service Mark or Identification Mark. Mr. Colavecchio allegedly had in his possession counterfeit slot machine tokens bearing the identifying marks of several casinos including two Atlantic City casinos. |
