3/1/79, James Turner was charged with entering without breaking
with intent to steal; grand larceny; possession of weapon without
permit; unlawful use of a dangerous weapon; assault with intent
to rob; robbery; armed robbery; threats to kill; and conspiracy
to enter without breaking with intent to steal in Atlantic County,
N.J. On 1/18/80, respondent entered a plea of guilty to grand larceny.
He received a 364 day sentence to the county jail, placed on probation
for 3 years and ordered to make $350 restitution to the victim.
On 5/8/80, respondent was charged with possession of CDS (marijuana),
N.J.S.A. 24:21-20a(4) in Atlantic City, N.J. On 6/8/80, respondent
plead guilty and on 7/17/80, he was given a six month conditional
charge, fined $75 and $25 court costs.
On 3/8/83, respondent was charged with possession of weapon for
unlawful purpose, N.J.S.A. 2C:39-4(d) in Atlantic City, N.J. The
charges were downgraded to assault and disorderly conduct, N.J.S.A.
2C:12-1a(3) and 2C:33-2a(1). Respondent failed to appear and a bench
warrant was issued for his arrest.
On 8/2/83, respondent was charged with theft by unlawful taking
(at Sands Casino Hotel), N.J.S.A. 2C:20-3 in Atlantic City, N.J.
Respondent failed to appear and a bench warrant was issued. |
