The New Jersey Army National Guard was activated at the direction of the Governor and the Office of Emergency Management. The troops will be providing additional security at Newark-Liberty International Airport, Staten Islandcrossings, the Lincoln Tunnel, and the George Washington Bridge, as well as the two nuclear power plants.
