On March 10 and April 1, Welcome Home and Freedom Salute ceremonies were held at the National Guard Armory in Westfield for Headquarters and Headquarters Company and A Company and at the Cherry Hill Armory for B and C Companies, 250th Signal Battalion.

The 250th had served in Iraq from November 2004 to November 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The Freedom Salute Campaign is one of the largest Army National Guard recognition endeavors in history, designed to publicly acknowledge Army National Guard soldiers and those who supported them during the President's call to duty for recent military operations.
