TRENTON – MVC Licensing Centers in Flemington and North Bergen are closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission announced today.

Flemington Licensing Center is closed until Wednesday, Dec. 16. The employee who tested positive was last in the Flemington Center Tuesday, Dec. 1.

North Bergen Licensing Center is closed until Thursday, Dec. 17. The employee who tested positive was last in the North Bergen Center Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Nine other MVC Centers remain closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location. These Centers are scheduled to reopen on the following dates:

• Lodi Licensing Center – reopens Friday, Dec. 4
• Wayne Licensing Center – reopens Friday, Dec. 4
• West Deptford Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Saturday, Dec. 5
• Salem Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 8
• Cherry Hill Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 9
• Medford Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 9
• Springfield Vehicle Center – reopens Saturday, Dec. 12
• Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
• Newark Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16

Upon closure due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, MVC Centers are cleaned and remain closed until contact tracers have cleared enough employees to reopen or any required quarantine is complete.

Any appointments that are canceled due to a COVID-19 closure must be rescheduled at NJMVC.gov. Customers are notified by email if their appointment has been canceled.

Customers should log on to NJMVC.gov before heading out to an MVC facility for the latest updates on MVC operations, to find alternative locations to visit, to complete online transactions like license and registration renewals, to make appointments for select license and vehicle transactions, and much more.
