MVC Centers in Randolph and Eatontown Closed

TRENTON – The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has announced that the Randolph Licensing Center and Eatontown Regional/Licensing Center are closed due to a single employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location.

Randolph Licensing Center will be closed until Saturday, Dec. 12. The employee who tested positive was last in the Randolph Center Friday, Nov. 27.

Eatontown Regional/Licensing Center will be closed until Tuesday, December 15. The employee who tested positive was last in the Eatontown Center Monday, Nov. 30.

Road test operations and the inspection stations remain open at both the Randolph and Eatontown locations, as they are in facilities separate from the MVC Centers.

Besides Randolph and Eatontown, nine other MVC Centers remain closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location, and are scheduled to reopen on the following dates:

  • West Deptford Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 8
  • Salem Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 8
  • Cherry Hill Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 9
  • Medford Vehicle Center – reopens Saturday, Dec 12
  • Springfield Vehicle Center – reopens Saturday, Dec. 12
  • Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
  • Newark Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
  • Flemington Licensing Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
  • North Bergen Licensing Center – reopens Thursday, Dec. 17

The Lodi and Wayne Licensing Centers will be reopening tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 4, and both Centers will be fully operational after quarantine closing and full COVID-19 cleaning.

The previously announced closures of the West Deptford Regional/Licensing Center and Medford Vehicle Center were extended since additional employees tested positive for COVID-19 at each location.

West Deptford is now scheduled to reopen Tuesday, Dec. 8; Medford is now scheduled to reopen Saturday, Dec. 12.

Customers are advised that any appointments that are canceled due to a COVID-19 closure must be rescheduled at NJMVC.gov. Customers are notified by email when their appointment has been canceled.

Customers should always log on to NJMVC.gov before heading out to an MVC facility. At the website, customers can find quick links for up-to-date information, identify alternative locations to visit, complete transactions like license and registration renewals online, schedule appointments for vehicle and license transactions, and more.
