Freehold Licensing Center Open by Appointment Only Dec. 5

TRENTON – The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has announced the Freehold Licensing Center will be open by appointment only tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 5, due to staffing issues unrelated to COVID-19. No walk-in customers will be allowed.

Freehold Licensing Center will return to full operations Monday, Dec. 7.

In addition, eleven MVC Centers remain closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. These Centers are scheduled to reopen on the following dates:

  • West Deptford Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 8
  • Salem Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 8
  • Cherry Hill Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 9
  • Medford Vehicle Center – reopens Saturday, Dec 12
  • Springfield Vehicle Center – reopens Saturday, Dec. 12
  • Randolph Licensing Center – reopens Saturday, Dec. 12
  • Eatontown Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 15
  • Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
  • Newark Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
  • Flemington Licensing Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 16
  • North Bergen Licensing Center – reopens Thursday, Dec. 17

 

Customers are advised that any appointments that are canceled due to a COVID-19 closure must be rescheduled at NJMVC.gov. Customers are notified by email when their appointment has been canceled.

Customers should always log on to NJMVC.gov to check the status of locations before heading out to any MVC facility. Plus, nearly 30 different online services and transactions are available at the MVC website, where customers also can make appointments for license and vehicle transactions, find quick links for up-to-date information, and learn more about the many recent changes at the MVC.
