Jersey City, N.J. – Earlier today, Troopers from the New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit, working in cooperation with the United States Marshal’s Service Regional Fugitive Task Force Newark and Camden Divisions, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, and Jersey City Police Department, arrested David Burroughs, 32, of Jersey City, who was on New Jersey’s Top 12 Most Wanted Fugitive list.

David Burroughs was wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in court to face charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of an injured victim.  He was placed on New Jersey’s Top 12 Most Wanted Fugitive list in 2013.

Through various investigative means, detectives located Burroughs at 180 Danforth Avenue, Jersey City.  He was arrested without incident and lodged in the Hudson County Jail without bail.
