State Police and Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office Investigate Murder of Alloway Twp Man

Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, N.J. - Detectives from the New Jersey State Police Criminal Investigation Office, Major Crime Unit, and Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the murder of a Alloway Township man.

On Sunday, September 13 at approximately 1:30 a.m., troopers from the Bridgeton station were called to the 500 block of East Avenue for a disturbance at a residence. Upon their arrival, troopers discovered a male lying on the sidewalk who had sustained a gunshot wound. The male was later identified as Jeron King, 27, of Alloway, N.J. King was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he was pronounced deceased.
