New Jersey State Police 2025 Most Wanted List

West Trenton, NJ – The New Jersey State Police announces the release of their 2025 “Most Wanted” list of fugitives. The list, compiled by the New Jersey State Police – Fugitive Unit, contains thirteen (13) New Jersey’s “Most Wanted” violent fugitives. It is headlined by the most wanted fugitive, Joanne Chesimard, who is wanted for escaping from a New Jersey correctional institution in 1979, where she was serving a life sentence for the May 2, 1973, murder of Trooper Werner Foerster #2608.

The remaining fugitives are wanted for a variety of crimes, including Murder, Sexual Assault of a Minor, Weapons Offenses, Escape, Human Trafficking, and Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. All of these fugitives are CONSIDERED DANGEROUS.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of these fugitives, you are urged to contact the New Jersey State Police – Fugitive Unit immediately. Together, we can make our communities a safer place to live. No piece of information is insignificant. ALL TIPS WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
