Indicted
on July 25, 1984, for swindling and cheating, in violation of N.J.S.A.
5:12-113 and N.J.S.A. 2C:2-6. On or about January 8, 1984, Mr. Starace
and two accomplices were observed cheating at roulette in Resorts
International Hotel/Casino. On March 1, 1985, he pled guilty and
was fined $3,500, ordered to pay a fine of $25 to the Violent Crimes
Compensation Board and signed a waiver consenting to the placement
of his name on the exclusion list.
