The Attorney General oversees the Department of Law & Public Safety with the support of his executive leadership team. The team advises the Attorney General on legal, policy, and administrative matters and assists with the day-to-day supervision of the Department’s divisions and initiatives.
Keshav Poddar is Counsel to the Attorney General. Before joining the Office of the Attorney General, Keshav served as a Policy Advisor to Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo, with a particular focus on health & human services, criminal justice, and environmental issues. He graduated from Dartmouth College and received his law degree from Yale Law School.
