The Attorney General oversees the Department of Law & Public Safety with the support of his executive leadership team. The team advises the Attorney General on legal, policy, and administrative matters and assists with the day-to-day supervision of the Department’s divisions and initiatives.
Bryn Whittle, as Director of Community Engagement, liaises with community stakeholders across the state to connect the Attorney General’s priority areas and initiatives. Upon joining the Office of the Attorney General, DAG Whittle's focus was on shaping policy and crafting special projects on community justice initiatives; mental health diversion programs; and police chaplaincy. Prior to that, she was a Senior Staff Attorney with the Community Health Law Project, a statewide legal services organization dedicated to the advocacy and representation of low-income, disabled New Jersey residents. DAG Whittle graduated from Rutgers University and received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
