The Attorney General oversees the Department of Law & Public Safety with the support of his executive leadership team. The team advises the Attorney General on legal, policy, and administrative matters and assists with the day-to-day supervision of the Department’s divisions and initiatives.
Steven Barnes serves as Director of Communications, responsible for educating the public and the press about the work of LPS and sharing information about its programs, initiatives, and policies. Previously in his career he served as Associate Dean for Communications at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, as Director of Communications at the Clinton Foundation, and as Assistant Dean of Public Affairs at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs.
