Dear Friend:
We are pleased to invite you to this year's Conference sponsored by the Division of the Ratepayer Advocate entitled Get Energized: News Consumers Can Use to Reduce Energy Bills, November 14, 2003, 8:30 - 12:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Monroe Township. The Conference is being organized to provide state ratepayers including public, private and not-for-profit groups and individuals strategies to reduce their energy costs by conservation and by participating in energy aggregation programs that are now possible in New Jersey because of amendments to the Electric Discount and Energy Competition Act, N.J.S.A. 48:3-49 et seq.
As you know, ever increasing energy costs are imposing serious financial burdens on all consumers and particularly retired persons, low income families and others facing economic difficulties. The choice defined as "heat or eat" is too often heard in New Jersey. The state's consumers need help to reduce costs. We hope you will join us to learn as much as possible on how to keep energy costs as low as possible. As you can see on the enclosed program very useful information will be available. Please encourage your friends, neighbors and co-workers to join us. Based on our experiences in previous conferences sponsored by the Ratepayer Advocate, spaces fill up quickly. Please mark this date down on your calendar and fax and mail the enclosed form to make your reservation. Contact Conference Coordinator Leora Mosston at (973) 648-2690, if you have any questions or need any special assistance.
We hope your busy schedule permits your participation in what is sure to be a very informative gathering. We look forward to greeting you on November 14.
Sincerely,
|
