Safety Guidelines
The NJ State Museum is excited to welcome school groups back for in-person field trips! To ensure students, teachers, chaperones and Museum staff have the safest possible experience the following safety measures are in place:

  • In accordance with the State of New Jersey’s updated guidelines, the NJ State Museum no longer requires masks for museum visitors. However, we strongly encourage all of our guests to wear masks and socially distance as practicable while in the building.
  • Masks will be available free of charge to all participants.

If you can’t travel this school year, check out our enhanced Virtual Field Trip Kits or Ask the Experts virtual science talks. There’s something here for everyone!
