Schedule a Field Trip

The New Jersey State Museum offers students 4 floors of exhibits exploring the Natural and Cultural history of the State, Archaeology and the Lenape People, and a remarkable Fine Art collection. Each long-term exhibit gallery offers printed guides for both pre-K and older students to explore on their own. You can also choose to enhance your field trip with a guided tour or a hands-on workshop.

Don’t forget to reserve a visit to the Planetarium! Our newly upgraded Ultra-High Resolution 8K projection system will immerse students in the wonders of the galaxy.

We continue to provide Virtual Field Trip options to give you flexibility in lesson planning. Choose from virtual tour kits that include hands-on projects shipped directly to you or live virtual interactions with our experts.

Click on the PDF link at the top of the page to learn more about all of our offerings or choose from the drop-down menu at the top under LEARN. When you are ready to make a reservation email njsm.reservations@sos.nj.gov
