Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 5
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 5 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Bergen County:
i.  In the Borough of Ridgefield:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length Within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii.  In the Borough of Palisades Park:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii.  In the Borough of Fort Lee:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iv.  In the Borough of Edgewater:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 5 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Bergen County:
i. The Borough of Fort Lee:
(1) Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Brinkerhoff Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Brinkerhoff Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(2) Far side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Bergen Boulevard – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Bergen Boulevard and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Inwood Terrace – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Inwood Terrace and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom.
(C) Bluff Road – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Bluff Road (approximate milepost 1.20) and extending 140 feet easterly therefrom.
(D) Bridle Way – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Bridle Way and extending 160 feet easterly therefrom.
(E) Bluff Road – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Bluff Road (approximate milepost 2.10) and extending 155 feet easterly therefrom.
(3) Mid-block bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
No locations at this time.
(4) Near side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Bridle Way - Beginning at the easterly curb line of Bridle Way and extending 155 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Bergen Boulevard - Beginning at the easterly curb line of Bergen Boulevard and extending 180 feet easterly therefrom.
(5) Far side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Bluff Road – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Bluff Road (approximate milepost 2.10) and extending 155 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Brinkerhoff Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Brinkerhoff Avenue and extending 100 feet westerly therefrom.
(6) Mid-block bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between Brinkerhoff Avenue and Bluff Road – Beginning at a point 1,015 feet west of the westerly curb line of Brinkerhoff Avenue and extending 135 feet westerly therefrom.
ii. The Borough of Edgewater:
(1) Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between the westerly curb line of Lower Undercliff Avenue and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.
(2) Mid-block bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between a point 775 feet west of the westerly curb line of Grand Avenue and a point 135 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Between a point 100 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Upper Undercliff Avenue and a point 135 feet westerly therefrom.
(3) Far side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the westerly curb line of Upper Undercliff Avenue and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Between the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Lower Undercliff Avenue and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.
