4/13/2016 - Police Captain Exam Review Information
Candidates who participated in the Police Captain oral assessment process will be provided with the opportunity to schedule a review upon issuance of the eligibility lists on April 13, 2016. At this review, candidates will have an opportunity to view their videotaped response to the oral exam and see how their score was calculated, and take part in the standard answer sheet review, which involves comparing one’s own answer sheet to a keyed answer sheet for the written exam. Requests for exam review appointments will be accepted from 12:01 a.m. on April 13, 2016 to 11:59 p.m. on May 3, 2016. Candidates will NOT be admitted for review without an appointment. The designated time slots for the review are 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on May 23 and 25, 2016. 3/7/2016 - Entry-Level Law Enforcement Announcements
In order to be considered for employment in an entry-level law enforcement position, candidates must pass a written exam called the Law Enforcement Examination (LEE). Those who pass will remain in the eligible pool for two years. The pool of eligible candidates that results from the LEE will be used to fill positions for law enforcement titles in all Civil Service jurisdictions. The next LEE announcement will be issued on July 1, 2016. Applications will be accepted until August 31, 2016.
We also anticipate June 1, 2016 announcements for Parole Officer Recruit and Parole Officer Recruit Bilingual in Spanish and English and a July 1, 2016 announcement for Correction Officer Recruit.
