    DCF’s Morris, Sussex, and Passaic local office employees donated new or lightly used clothing and food for families and individuals in need.  Items were donated to Dress for Success of Morris County, Interfaith Food Pantry, Highland Family Success Center, Sussex County Social Services, and Oasis.

 

DCF’s Bergen and Hudson Local Offices Raise Money for Homeless Children
    DCF Bergen and Hudson local offices participated in a Zumbathon, raising $1500 for sneakers and sporting equipment for homeless children.

 

DCF’s Salem Local Office Helps Victims of Domestic Violence
    DCF’s Salem local office donated laundry baskets filled with sleeping and hygiene items to safe houses and community providers that assist victims of domestic violence victims.  The baskets contained sheets, pillow cases, comforters, towels, wash cloths, laundry detergent and softener, shower gel, and a loofa.

 

DCF Celebrates Families
    DCF's Adoption Operations Unit hosted Celebrating Families, a day of entertainment, games, activities, and fun for adoptive families.

 

DCF Supports NORWESCAP Summer Food Program
 
DCF’s Warren local office participated in NORWESCAP’s summer food program, donating more than 40 pounds of food to NORWESCAP’s food bank and giving books to approximately 40 children.

NORWESCAP is a private, non-profit corporation established in 1965 to serve the low-income population of Hunterdon, Sussex, and Warren Counties.

 

DCF Helps Fisherman’s Mark Food Pantry
    DCF's Hunterdon local office helped stack shelves at Fisherman’s Mark Food Pantry in Lambertville.  The effort was one of many community service activities and events DCF employees participated in to celebrate the department’s 10th anniversary.

    Hosted by the New Jersey State Museum, DCF recently celebrated the role and contributions of its system partners in serving the needs of New Jersey's children, families, and women.

    DCF Commissioner Allison Blake reads to children at the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton. Commissioner Blake's visit was one of many locations throughout New Jersey in which DCF Assistant Commissioners and executive staff participated in to celebrate the department’s 10th anniversary.

 

DCF Provides Lunch for the Homeless
    DCF colleagues from our Somerset local office provided a picnic-style lunch and distributed tote bags containing toiletries to the homeless. 

 

June 28, 2016 - DCF Walks to Support Protection and Permanency
    DCF colleagues in our Atlantic, Burlington, and Cape May local offices walk to support child welfare awareness and the mission of the Meghan McKeever Foundation, a non-profit organization established to provide children in crisis with protection and permanency. 

 

DCF Helps Community Food Bank of New Jersey Feed The Hungry
    DCF colleagues from our local and area offices in Middlesex and Union counties deliver food they collected to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

 

DCF Helps Feed The Hungry in Monmouth and Ocean Counties
    DCF colleagues from our local offices in Monmouth and Ocean counties delivered food they collected to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  These local offices collected more than $600 worth of food weighing close to a thousand pounds.
