Occupational Health Surveillance

The Occupational Health Surveillance Unit’s goal is to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities among New Jersey workers through surveillance and education. The New Jersey Department of Health Occupational Health Surveillance Unit uses multiple data sources to track injuries and illnesses that occur in New Jersey workplaces. Characterizing the populations most at risk for work-related illness and injury helps assess occupational health needs in the state. We will update resources as new data becomes available.
