We're thrilled to celebrate Addision Miller as our Summer Top Tomato! Her passion for beekeeping and education has made a meaningful impact on the students and staff of Cape May and Atlantic County.

At just 13, Addison has already set a clear mission and she’s actively pursuing it: helping bees thrive in New Jersey. She shares her passion for beekeeping through educational presentations and by participating in local community events.

Addison started beekeeping in 2019 when she was 7 years old. She fell in love with it after a neighbor introduced her to the practice. The following year, her parents bought her a hive of her own for her birthday. Throughout her journey, Addison has been supported and encouraged by her family and friends.

Addison loves sharing her beekeeping passion with others, particularly kids! She has designed a program called “Buzzing into Beekeeping” for elementary aged students. Currently she visits different schools to present her program in classrooms. Addison says, “I share information on the importance of bees and the environment. Bees do more for us than most people realize.”
