Coyote and Fox Permits on Sale January 10 - February 16, 2006

Permits are required to hunt coyote, red or gray fox from January 16 - February 20, 2006.

Permits for individuals who mailed their applications by the deadline will be mailed out during the week of January 3, 2006. For those individuals who did not mail an application, permits will be made available for purchase over the counter at select division offices.

Permits will be available at the following Division of Fish and Wildlife offices during the hours of 9 a.m - noon and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY:

Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center, nine miles west of Hackettstown on Rt. 46 in Oxford, Warren County

Central Region Office (Assunpink), Exit 11 off Rt. I-195, head north, at second intersection turn right. The office is at the corner of East Branch and Eldridge Rds. Located in Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County

Southern Region Office, one mile south of Rt. 73 on Blue Anchor Rd. in Sicklerville, Camden County

Main Office, 501 East State Street (3rd floor) in Trenton, Mercer County.

Permits cost $2.00. Purchasers must present their 2006 hunting license. Hunters need not be present to purchase a permit, however the individual purchasing the permit for them must have the hunter's valid 2006 hunting license.
