* Quantities of surplus fish are not determined until actual stocking of these fish. Excess handling would increase mortality.

The distribution of broodstock during the fall stocking season will depend on the timing and success of the rainbow trout spawning operation. These fish will not be stocked until the hatchery has met its annual rainbow trout egg requirements. Pending the availability of these fish, South Jersey impoundments will receive excess breeders in Week 2. The remainder of the allotment will be stocked Week 3 in North Jersey along with the surplus production fish.
