Upper Delaware Wildlife Heritage Festival September 28, 2003


Mark your calendar for the second Upper Delaware Wildlife Heritage Festival which will take place on September 28th from 10 am to 4 pm at the Pequest Trout Hatchery. This event celebrates NJ's natural resources and National Hunting & Fishing Day.

Cosponsored by the DEP Division of Fish & Wildlife, Warren County Dept. of Tourism, and Centenary College's WNTI radio, the event will feature a variety of activities, music and exhibits. Conservation groups, wildlife artists, kids' activities, a sawmill demonstration and chain saw artist will be complemented by exhibits on wildlife management activities. Historical reenactors will demonstrate crafts and activities that harken back to our historical uses of wildlife. Trout spawning demonstrations will take place as well. Local musicians will be featured.
