CONSTRUCTION SITE ON ASSUNPINK WMA CLOSED TO PUBLIC

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife alerts individuals that the property located at the intersection of East Branch Road and Eldridge Road within the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County is currently closed to the public. The site is temporarily closed to protect public safety until the construction of a new Division Central Region Office and Maintenance Complex is completed.

All other lands within the WMA will remain open to the public. Completion of the office is expected in July of 2002.
