CHECK STATION CHANGES IN MORRIS, SOMERSET & WARREN COUNTIES

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announces important check station changes in Morris, Somerset and Warren counties for the 2003-2004 deer seasons. Hunters are reminded to check their deer at the nearest open station to the harvest location.

In Morris County, Madison Car Care at 122 Main St. in Madison will no longer check in deer. Hunters may instead check their deer at Bordy’s Outdoors located at 177 Columbia Tpk. in Florham Park.

In Somerset County, Hillsborough Outdoor Sports Center at 170 Township Line Road in Belle Mead will no longer check in deer. Hunters may instead check their deer at Millstone Sport Shop, 20 N. River St. in East Millstone or at Neshanic Station Farm, Home & Garden, 101 Fairview Dr. in Neshanic Station.

In Warren County, Columbia Sport Shop (formerly Wags), located at 27 Rt. 46 West in Columbia will be open to check deer during all seasons.
