HUNTERS SHOULD NOTE CORRECTIONS TO AUGUST DIGEST

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife informs hunters of the following errors in the August hunting issue of the 2003 New Jersey Fish and Wildlife Digest.

On page 9 under the "Permits Available at Participating License Agents" section, deer permits may be purchased at participating license agents only for the following zones: 1-19, 21-31, 34-36, 41-43, 45-51, 55, 63 and 65. The paragraph incorrectly stated zones 1-9, etc.

On pages 40 and 41, the zone number designation for zone 43 was not included on the map. However, the written zone description can be found on page 47.

On page 44, two deer check stations were left out of the list. The two additions (both in Burlington County) are: Green Bank Inn, Rt. 542 & Rt. 563 Junction in Green Bank (609-965-9799) and New Gretna Munchies, Rt. 9 & S. Maple Ave. in New Gretna (609-296-8050). Both of these stations will be checking in deer for all seasons.
