Due to inclement weather and in the interest of public safety, the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife advises hunters that pheasant and quail stocking slated for Tuesday, December 28, has been cancelled statewide. Birds scheduled for release on that day will be added to the final season stockings.

Pheasants will be stocked as scheduled for December 30 on the North Jersey WMAs and DWGNRA.  

Due to heavier snow accumulations in central and south Jersey, the December 30 pheasant stockings for the Central and South Jersey WMAs listed at www.njfishandwildlife.com/pdf/2010/pheas-quail_sched10.pdf have been postponed to a tentative stocking date of January 8. Fish and Wildlife staff are working to clear roads and parking areas on the affected WMAs.

The December 30 scheduled quail stockings for Peaslee and Greenwood Forest WMAs have been postponed until January 8.
