The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has been informed that, beginning January 1 and continuing to February 21, the Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH) program will be waiving the normal $10 to $20 fee hunters are asked to pay when donating deer. HHH will also be giving all those who donate a free gift, which will be distributed by the participating butcher, at time of deer drop off. The waiver applies to the first 250 deer donated only.
The HHH Board of Trustees appreciates the overwhelming support of the program's donators, sponsors, event participants, and hunters. They are asking hunters to accept this effort as an invitation to get back in the woods and enjoy the extended seasons which New Jersey has to offer.
