March 13, 2014
The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has announced that, due to the extended period of deep snow cover, the New Jersey Fish and Game Council recommended and the Director approved a 20-day extension to the 2013-2014 Semi-Wild hunting season at their March 11 meeting. This action provides for a revised season closing date of Friday, April 4.
This revision will only apply to the 2013-2014 hunting season, and does not apply to subsequent hunting seasons. Prior to this extension, the season was scheduled to close on March 15, 2014. This 20-day extension applies to Semi-wild Hunting Preserves only.
