The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) and the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife will hold a public hearing Thursday, January 7, regarding proposed recreational management measures for summer flounder and black sea bass. Draft Addendum XXVII proposes regional management approaches for the 2016 summer flounder and black sea bass recreational fisheries. The Addendum includes an option that addresses the discrepancies in summer flounder measures in the Delaware Bay.
The public hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Stafford Township Municipal Building, 260 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
