State Record Bluefish (Spearfishing) Caught

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has announced that Igor Kotov of Cranford made his way onto the state record fish list recently by landing a state record Bluefish while spearfishing. Igor was diving off the Gypsyblood Dive on the Shark River Artificial Reef's USS Algol when he landed the 22 pound, 2 ounce fish.

The new record bluefish - spearfishing measured 38.375 inches in length.
