February "Take A Kid Hunting" Youth Waterfowl Hunts |

Parents, grandparents and mentors are reminded that the February Youth Waterfowl Hunts are this Saturday and next. These days, available through the Take a Kid Hunting Program provide a quality hunting experience for properly licensed youth hunters by increasing their opportunity for harvesting game outside the regular season in a setting which encourages responsible and safe hunting practices with a supportive atmosphere.
The Youth Waterfowl Hunt in each of the three hunting zones will be held as follows:
- Saturday, February 2, 2019 (North and South Zones)
- Saturday, February 9, 2019 (Coastal Zone)
This is the third year a youth waterfowl hunt has been held late in the season in the North and South Zones.
The hunt is open to all holders of a current Youth License hunting under the direct supervision of a properly licensed, non-hunting adult 21 years of age or older. Bag limits and regulations for all species are the same as during the regular season.
