Executive Order 227, issued by Gov. Chris Christie on June 23, 2017, requires all state agencies to post orders, decisions and opinions to their respective websites, where disclosure of this information is in the best interest of public health, safety, or welfare.

The Department will be continually updating this site as it works to comply with Executive Order 227.

• The Department of Health certifies and, when necessary, enforces penalties against Assisted Living Administrators, Nurse Aides, Medication Aides, and Personal Care Assistants in the state. To check a certification, you can search for it through the Online Public Registry.

Search Licensee Database

Consumers can use the Health Facilities search page to look up inspection reports of ambulatory surgical centers that the Department licenses. Search by name, location, or just click the next to “Ambulatory Surgery” and “Search” to display all the ambulatory surgery facilities in the state.
