Third
Annual Polling Place Accessibility Workshop.
Consistent with the goal of Attorney General
Peter C. Harvey, the Division
of Elections, and the federal Help America
Vote Act (HAVA), the workshop is being held
to provide local and county elections officials
with information and assistance needed to
achieve 100 percent polling place accessibility
for the disabled. More than 200 local and
county election officials are already signed
up to attend this year’s workshop.
Due to the enthusiastic response, there
will be both morning and afternoon sessions.
This year’s workshop is the first
